Green Oval Cylinder Floral Limoges Box

Green porcelain with painted flowers rises in an oval cylinder, an upright traditional shape that stands tall among flatter boxes. Decorated by hand in Limoges, France, it is a true hand-painted Limoges box.

Topiary and Trellis

The oval cylinder has the elegant proportions of a garden planter, and the floral painting climbs around it like flowers on a trellis. Green gives the piece a fresh, calm character that fits a sunroom as well as a formal parlor.

Shelf Height and Rhythm

Use it to add height in the middle of a grouping, surrounded by flat rounds and hearts. It also pairs nicely with the green floral cylinder and green crown top, creating a tidy green row with a mix of shapes.
