Round Floral Limoges Box with Painted Flowers

Light blue flowers circle this round porcelain box with the cool calm of a spring morning. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, in one of the most classic Limoges shapes.

Forget Me Not Calm

Light blue blooms bring to mind forget-me-nots, hydrangeas and cornflowers, flowers tied to memory and devotion. On a round box, they form a gentle, continuous pattern that looks lovely from every side. The soft palette makes it easy to place in almost any room.

Powder Blue Pairings

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a floral, vanity or classic round box collection
• Pairs with blue and white china and other pale blue pieces

Calm Corners

Rest it on a bedside table, a bathroom vanity or a guest room dresser to add a cool note. It is a thoughtful present for a baby boy's christening, a something-blue keepsake for a bride, or a get-well wish for a friend who needs a calm moment. A favorite ring or a few pearl earrings fit nicely inside.

Painted, Then Mounted

On many Limoges boxes, the painting is added by hand after the first firing of the white porcelain, and the metal mounts are fitted by hand as well.
