Round Limoges Box with Yellow and Orange Flowers

Yellow and orange flowers fill the lid of this round porcelain box with the warmth of a sunny afternoon. Painted by hand in Limoges, France, it brings a burst of summer color to any room.

Marigold Afternoon

Yellow and orange are the colors of sunflowers, marigolds and late summer light. On this round box they create a cheerful, upbeat design that stands apart from the pinks and blues common in floral porcelain. It is the kind of piece that makes a gray day feel brighter.

Small Boxes, Grand Origins

In eighteenth century France, small porcelain boxes were prized for snuff, pills and beauty patches, a tradition Limoges keeps alive today.
