Tall Round Orange Limoges Box with Green Flowers

Tall and round, this box glows in orange with green flowers painted over its sides, a bold pairing that brings instant warmth to a shelf. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France, with the lid resting neatly on top.

Citrus Grove Colors

Orange and green call to mind an orchard in full leaf, or a bowl of clementines on a kitchen table. The green blossoms are an unexpected touch, since most painted flowers come in pinks and blues. Every bloom is applied by hand in Limoges, which means the pattern shifts slightly from box to box.

Bold Palette Partners

• Pairs with the orange and green striped box in a matching palette

Harvest Table to Home Office

It shines on an autumn table among gourds and candles, but it works just as well on a home office desk or a sunroom shelf year round. It suits a fall birthday, a housewarming in a warm toned home, or a thank you to a friend who loves strong color. The tall cylinder shape makes it easy to fit into a crowded cabinet as a back row accent.
