Yellow Floral Semi Oval Limoges Box
Sunny yellow and dotted with painted blossoms, this semi oval porcelain box is a classic Limoges pill box shape with a bright spring personality. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France.
Buttercup Morning
The semi oval outline has one gently curved side and one flatter side, which lets the floral painting wrap around the front where it is seen best. The soft yellow ground warms everything around it, like a patch of morning light on a dresser top.

Where a Little Sunshine Helps
Keep it on a vanity to hold a ring or two, or set it on a bedside table where a spot of yellow can greet the day. It makes an easy birthday present for a friend whose favorite color is yellow, a get well wish, or a small thank-you for a neighbor with a garden full of daffodils.
Collectors who arrange boxes by color often use a piece like this to bridge the greens and the oranges on a shelf.
