Rochard Green Dragon Hand-Painted Limoges Box
A green dragon straight out of legend takes shape in this Rochard Limoges box, ready to guard a shelf of treasures. The mythical beast is formed in porcelain and painted by hand in Limoges, France.
Here Be Dragons
Dragons turn up in folklore from Wales to China, sometimes as fearsome foes and sometimes as bringers of good fortune. Rochard gives this one a rich green finish applied by hand, so each box carries small variations in tone that make it one of a kind.

Guardian of the Bookshelf
Perch it on a shelf beside well-worn fantasy novels, a tabletop game collection or a display of medieval curiosities. It makes a clever present for a role-playing game master, a fan of epic fantasy films, or someone born in the Year of the Dragon. The Lunar New Year is another fitting moment to give it, since dragons are a symbol of strength and good luck in Chinese tradition.
