Rochard Green Crocodile and Little Fish Limoges Box

A long green crocodile lounges across this box, and a little fish waits nearby, perhaps a bit too close for comfort. Rochard sculpted the pair as a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, made in Limoges, France.

See You Later, Alligator

The crocodile stretches along the full length of the piece, painted in greens, while the small fish comes off as a separate part. That loose fish gives the box a playful bit of story: predator and possible lunch, frozen in porcelain. Rochard has a knack for this sort of gentle humor in its wild animal line.

Swamp and Jungle Company

• A Rochard design, painted by hand in France
• Includes a small removable fish
• Fits a reptile, jungle or Florida swamp collection

Where the Croc Can Bask

Set it on an office desk for someone with a dry wit, on a shelf in a Florida beach house, or in a curio cabinet beside frogs and turtles. It suits a zookeeper, a reptile enthusiast, a Gators fan, or anyone who has visited the Everglades and come back with stories. The removable fish also makes it fun to handle, and it often starts a conversation when guests pick it up for a closer look.
