Squirrel Figurine Limoges Box in Painted Porcelain

A busy squirrel, the tireless gatherer of every backyard and park, is the subject of this hand-painted porcelain Limoges box. It comes from Limoges, France, and it is a retired design.

Gathering for Winter

Squirrels spend the fall hiding acorns and nuts for the colder months, and they seem to enjoy every minute of it. This little porcelain figure brings that woodland energy indoors, painted by hand so each one has a slightly different finish.

Woodland Shelf Notes

• A retired design from an older Limoges critter line
• Fits a woodland, forest animal or autumn collection
• Pairs well with acorn, owl, fox and hedgehog pieces

From the Treetops to the Mantel

Bring it out with the fall leaves on a mantel, a harvest table or a bookcase in the den. It is a fun present for a bird feeder enthusiast who has made peace with the squirrels, a nature walk companion, or anyone who loves the woods in autumn.

It is a small reminder that the busy season of gathering nuts and acorns is also a season well worth celebrating at home.
