Mini Frog Porcelain Limoges Box

A mini frog in bright colors perches as if ready to leap off the shelf. This little porcelain Limoges box was hand-painted in Limoges, France, a cheerful pond dweller in a pocket-sized form.

Small Hop, Big Smile

Some of the most charming Limoges pieces are the smallest, and this frog proves it. Its compact size lets it tuck in anywhere, from a windowsill to a bookshelf between larger pieces. The bright painting is done by hand, so each little frog has its own personality.

Down by the Pond

Frogs have long been a symbol of luck, change and new beginnings, which makes this one a fun present for a fresh start, a new job or a recovery. Frog collectors always have room for one more, and a gardener with a backyard pond will recognize the subject at once. It also brightens a desk, a bathroom vanity or a sunroom ledge.
