Globe Bar with Wine Glasses Porcelain Limoges Box

Grand old libraries sometimes hid a drinks cabinet inside a large world globe, and this porcelain piece borrows that clever idea. The globe bar, complete with wine glasses, is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France.

Around the World by Glass

A globe bar suggests travel, conversation and a well chosen bottle shared with friends. Here the round world and the glasses are painted by hand, so the land and sea colors carry the small variations that mark a piece decorated with a brush rather than a machine.

Cheers in the Study

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a wine, home bar or world travel collection
• Pairs with wine barrel, cognac bottle and suitcase pieces

For the Well Traveled Host

This is a natural present for a friend who keeps a bar cart stocked, a sommelier, or a couple who plan their vacations around wine regions. It also suits a retirement party for someone who intends to see the world. Display it in a study, on a bar cart shelf or among atlases and travel books, where it fits right in with the theme of good company and faraway places.
