Rochard Leprechaun Hat and Four Leaf Clover Limoges Box
A leprechaun's hat sits ready for mischief, and a removable four leaf clover tops it off with a bit of Irish luck. This is a Rochard Limoges box, porcelain made and colored by hand in Limoges, France.
Luck of the Irish
Finding a four leaf clover is said to bring good fortune, with each leaf standing for faith, hope, love and luck. Paired with a leprechaun's hat, the little shamrock that lifts out makes this piece a charm for anyone who claims a drop of Irish blood.
Céad Míle Fáilte
A hundred thousand welcomes, as the Irish greeting goes. Rochard has a playful set of Irish themed boxes, and this hat is one of the most festive. Each one is painted by hand in the Limoges workshop, so small differences in tone make every hat its own.
