Rochard Camera Limoges Box with Film and Photo

A camera, a roll of film and a finished photo come together on this Rochard box, a little tribute to the days of developing pictures in a darkroom. The porcelain was sculpted and brushed with color by hand in Limoges, France.

Developing a Memory

Before phones held thousands of pictures, every shot counted. You loaded the film, framed the moment, and waited days to see the print. This box captures that whole process in one small scene, and the photo detail reminds us why we take pictures in the first place.

Shutterbug Shelf

• A Rochard camera with film and a photo
• Hand-decorated porcelain from a Limoges workshop
• Joins photography, hobby and profession collections

Picture Perfect Occasions

Give it to a professional photographer for a studio opening, to a graduating art student, to a wedding photographer as a thank you, or to a family historian who keeps the albums. On a studio shelf, beside a row of photo albums or on an office desk near a favorite framed print, it fits right in. Film camera enthusiasts who still shoot on 35mm will especially appreciate the roll of film.
