Cat with a Ball of Yarn Porcelain Limoges Box
A cat has gotten hold of a ball of yarn and is having the time of its life with it, paws tangled and eyes full of mischief. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box has the cat and the yarn painted by hand in Limoges, France.
Knit One, Pounce Two
Anyone who knits knows exactly how this scene ends, with a trail of yarn across the living room and a very pleased cat. It is a classic subject, playful and familiar, and it captures the spirit of a house where cats rule the knitting basket.

For Knitters and Cat Owners
It is a natural present for a knitter, a crocheter, a yarn shop owner, or a friend with a cat who always steals the skein. Set it beside a knitting basket, on a craft room shelf, or on a side table near a favorite armchair. Knitting circle friends will laugh at it together.
A playful reminder that every craft project needs a supervisor, and that the supervisor is usually covered in fur.
