Movie Director Film Camera Porcelain Limoges Box

An old style film camera, the kind a movie director stood behind on set while calling for action, is shaped in porcelain here with its reels and lens. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, its details brushed on by hand in Limoges, France.

Lights, Camera, Porcelain

Its reels and lens give this camera the unmistakable look of the golden age of Hollywood, when epics were shot on film and every take counted. It honors the craft behind the movies as much as the stars in front of them.

The Screening Room Shelf

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a film, cinema or Hollywood collection
• Pairs with typewriter, jukebox and theater mask pieces

That's a Wrap

It is a fine present for a film student on graduation, a filmmaker after a premiere, a photographer, or a movie buff who never misses the Oscars. Set it in a home theater, on a media room shelf, or on a desk beside a stack of favorite films. Film festival volunteers and community theater directors will appreciate it too.

A tribute to every director who ever shouted cut and then asked for one more take.
