Light Blue Patterned Stamp Limoges Box

Pale sky blue and a neat repeating pattern dress this rectangular stamp box, a nod to the days when every letter needed a postage stamp close at hand. It is hand-painted porcelain, a Limoges box made in Limoges, France, with a soft palette that settles easily into any room.

Signed, Sealed and Painted

Stamp boxes were once a fixture on every well kept writing desk, sitting beside the inkwell and the letter opener. This one keeps the classic rectangular outline and lets the light blue pattern do the decorating, so it reads as calm rather than busy.

For the Faithful Letter Writer

Place it on a secretary desk, a home office shelf or a hall table where the mail lands each afternoon. It makes a thoughtful thank-you for a pen pal, a retirement nod for a postal worker, or a housewarming present for someone setting up a first study. Anyone who still sends handwritten thank-you notes will understand it at once.
