Mice with Mushroom and Paint Set Limoges Box

Little mice gather around a mushroom and a paint set on this porcelain box, as if they have set up an artists' studio in the woods. Hand-painted in Limoges, France, this Limoges box tells a storybook tale for anyone who loves to paint.

A Studio Under the Toadstool

There is something charming about tiny creatures taking up the brush. The mushroom gives the scene a woodland setting, and the paint set suggests the mice are about to try their hand at a masterwork of their own.

Who Will Pick Up a Brush

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits mouse, woodland and artist groupings
• Pairs with easel, palette and pencil shapes

For Painters and Teachers

It is a sweet present for a watercolor painter, an art teacher at the end of the year or a friend who has just joined a painting class. Collectors of mice will enjoy the storybook scene, and it also suits a new baby keepsake shelf placed well out of reach.

Creative Corners

Set it on a studio windowsill, beside a jar of brushes or on a bookshelf with art books. Paired with other woodland pieces, it brings a touch of fairy tale to a quiet corner.
