Brown Tool Chest Workbench Limoges Box

A brown tool chest sits on a sturdy workbench on this box, ready for the next weekend project in the garage. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box from Limoges, France, a salute to everyone who would rather fix it than call someone.

Measure Twice, Cut Once

Every serious workshop is built around a good bench and a well organized tool chest. This piece captures that familiar corner of the garage or basement, the place where shelves get built, chairs get repaired and old furniture gets a second life.

The Workshop Crew

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a workshop, tools or men's den grouping
• Pairs with the blue tool chest and other trade themed boxes

For the Family Fix-It Expert

It makes a fitting Father's Day present, a retirement send-off for a carpenter or contractor, or a thank-you for the neighbor who always lends a hand. Woodworkers, cabinetmakers and weekend DIY fans will all recognize themselves in it. Set it on a desk in the den, a shelf in the garage office, or a bookcase beside woodworking manuals. New homeowners about to tackle their first project will appreciate the encouragement.
