Rochard Happy Camper Limoges Box, Campfire Camping Trunk
Rochard named this one Happy Camper, and the name fits: a porcelain camping trunk with a campfire theme, packed for a summer weekend by the lake. It was shaped and hand-painted at the Rochard studio in Limoges, France.
Gathered Round the Campfire
The campfire is the heart of any camping trip, the place for toasting marshmallows, telling ghost stories and watching the stars come out. This trunk brings that theme to a box, the kind of footlocker packed for camp or the cabin each year.

For Those Who Love a Campsite
It makes a fun present for a scout leader, a camp counselor, an RV traveler, or a retiring couple heading off to see the national parks. Display it on a cabin mantel, a lodge style bookshelf, or a home office desk as a daily reminder of the next trip. Anyone who counts down the days until summer camping season will understand this one immediately.
A Limoges Habit
Small porcelain boxes date back to 18th-century France, when they were carried to keep snuff, pills and beauty patches close at hand.
