Rochard Rabbit with Carrot Limoges Box in Black and White
A black and white rabbit and its carrot make up this crisp, graphic Rochard Limoges box. The porcelain was shaped and brush-painted in Limoges, France, and the two-tone coat makes it stand out on any shelf.
A Carrot for Later
Rabbits and carrots are a pairing as old as storybooks, and this one looks ready to enjoy a well earned snack. The black and white coat recalls many favorite pet breeds, and house rabbit owners often see their own bunny in it. It brings a little springtime cheer to a room, no matter the season.

Spring on the Hall Table
Pair it with a vase of tulips on a hall table, set it among pastel eggs at Easter, or let it join other farm animals on a kitchen shelf. It makes a sweet present for a rabbit owner, an Easter surprise or a spring birthday treat. Gardeners who have shared their vegetable patch with a rabbit or two will appreciate the joke, too.
Porcelain has been made in Limoges since the late 1700s, ever since fine kaolin clay turned up near Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche in 1768.
