Brown Rabbit on a Leaf Limoges Box with Carrot by Rochard

A brown bunny rests on a leaf, and a little carrot comes along as a removable accent for later. This Rochard figurine box was sculpted in porcelain and painted by hand in Limoges, France.

A Snack Saved for Later

The carrot can sit right by the bunny or be set nearby, as if the rabbit is guarding its next meal. The leaf beneath gives the scene a fresh, garden feeling, and the warm brown of the bunny is the color of a wild cottontail spotted at dawn on the lawn.

Spring Basket Ideas

Tuck it into an Easter basket for a grown up, set it on a spring table among tulips and painted eggs, or give it to a gardener who shares the vegetable patch with the neighborhood rabbits. It also suits a nursery shelf for a spring baby or a windowsill overlooking the garden. Rabbit collectors often look for pieces with accessories, and the removable carrot makes this one a favorite.
