Tall Hexagon Limoges Box Painted with Carrots

Carrots climb the sides of this tall six sided porcelain box, a cheerful vegetable theme set on an unusual shape. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, and its height makes it stand out among lower pieces.

Six Sides of Harvest

A hexagon gives the painter six panels to work with, so the carrot motif can be enjoyed from many angles. The taller profile is less common than round or square boxes, which makes it a welcome change of pace on a crowded shelf. The carrot is a familiar sight in kitchen gardens and Easter baskets alike.

Garden Rows and Spring Baskets

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Belongs with vegetable, garden and Easter themed boxes
• Pairs well with rabbit, peas in a pod or watering can pieces

Standing Tall in the Kitchen

Use it to add height to a row of shorter boxes on a kitchen shelf, or set it beside a bunny figurine on an Easter table. It suits a gardener who grows heirloom vegetables, a cook who swears by fresh produce from the farmers market, or a friend who always makes the carrot cake for family birthdays.

Few vegetable boxes carry their theme on so tall and handsome a frame.
