Green Cabbage Head of Lettuce Porcelain Limoges Box

Layered green leaves wrap around this porcelain head of lettuce, which many collectors also call a cabbage. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box figurine made in Limoges, France, bringing the freshness of a market stall to a kitchen shelf.

Fresh From the Garden Row

A crisp head of lettuce is the reward for a season of weeding and watering. This miniature captures that fresh picked moment, with leaves curling around the center. It is a simple subject handled with care, and it fits beautifully into a kitchen or garden themed display. Its cool green tones also make a refreshing break from the reds and yellows of most fruit pieces.

Market Basket Display

Set it on a kitchen windowsill, a farmhouse shelf or beside a cookbook stand. It is a good match for a cook, a vegetable gardener, a salad fan or a farmers market vendor. Gardeners who grow their own greens will enjoy a head of lettuce that the rabbits can never reach.
