Rabbit in Lettuce Hand-Painted Limoges Box

Snug inside a head of lettuce, this rabbit has found the best seat in the vegetable garden. The scene is hand-painted porcelain, made into a Limoges box in Limoges, France, and the design is retired.

Hiding in the Greens

Every gardener knows rabbits love fresh lettuce, and this one has taken that love to its natural end by moving right in. The scene is gently funny and full of spring garden freshness.

Garden Patch Notes

• A retired design from the Limoges rabbit line
• Suits a rabbit, vegetable garden or spring collection
• Pairs with turtle gardener, watering can and carrot pieces

From the Garden Bed to the Shelf

Place it on a kitchen windowsill above the herbs, on a sunroom table, or in a spring display at Easter. It is a fine present for a vegetable gardener, a farm stand regular, or a friend with a backyard rabbit who never leaves the lettuce alone.

A charming little reminder of the garden at its greenest, and a natural favorite for anyone who plants a row of lettuce every spring.
