Lime Green Oval Hexagon Porcelain Limoges Box

Not every Limoges box needs to be a figure to win a place on the shelf. This one is a traditional shaped box in a crisp lime green, cut in an oval hexagon outline and painted by hand on porcelain in Limoges, France.

Fresh as a Key Lime

Lime green is a bright, modern color that stands apart from the pastel pinks and blues seen on many traditional boxes. The oval hexagon outline gives a single plain color real presence on a dresser or glass shelf.

The Classic Box Shelf

• Traditional shaped porcelain, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Adds a bold color to a row of round, oval and square boxes
• Pairs with green heart and floral pieces in a spring palette

Beside the Morning Routine

Keep it on a nightstand, a bathroom counter or a vanity tray, where a ring, a pair of earrings or a few vitamins can rest inside. It also brightens a home office desk. It suits a birthday for a friend whose favorite color is green, a St. Patrick's Day present, or a housewarming in a kitchen with citrus touches. Collectors of traditional shapes often hunt for unusual colors like this one, since they make a row of classic boxes far more interesting to look at.
