Mini White Round Limoges Box with Pink Flowers

Small, white and round, this mini porcelain box is dotted with pink flowers like petals scattered on a tablecloth. It was painted by hand in Limoges, France, a petite Limoges round that fits almost anywhere.

Petite Petals

A white ground keeps the pink blooms crisp and clear, and the mini size makes the whole piece feel delicate. It is a gentle, uncomplicated design, the porcelain equivalent of a single flower in a bud vase. Sometimes the smallest boxes are the ones that get picked up most often.

Tucked Into Small Spaces

Thanks to its size, it slips onto a crowded nightstand, the corner of a bathroom sink, a windowsill or a shelf in a curio cabinet. It makes a lovely thank you for a bridesmaid, a teacher appreciation present, a Mother's Day token from a grandchild, or a get well wish on a breakfast tray.

Many collectors keep a handful of mini floral rounds together, and this one is an easy place to begin.
