Tall Pink Oval Porcelain Limoges Pill Box

Tall, oval and colored a soft pink, this pill box has a graceful upright shape that sets it apart from flatter pieces. The porcelain comes from Limoges, France, where this Limoges box was painted by hand.

Standing Tall in Blush

Height changes everything. Where a flat pill box lies low, this tall oval rises from the shelf with an elegant, almost vase like profile, and the gentle pink keeps it soft and approachable rather than formal.

Color Families and Shape Runs

Collectors who organize by color will find it a natural partner for pink flat rounds, eggs and hearts. Those who organize by shape can line it up with tall ovals in yellow and other shades to compare how the same form looks in different colors.

Sweet Spots and Kind Gestures

• A vanity or powder room shelf with pink accents
• A bridal party thank-you or a bridesmaid's memento
• A birthday surprise for a friend whose favorite color is pink

Hand-painted Limoges porcelain from France, it keeps its quiet charm whether it stands alone on a nightstand or in a crowd on a curio shelf.
