Love Birds in Pastel Blue Cage Limoges Box
A pair of love birds sits together inside a pastel blue birdcage, a sweet picture of devotion on this porcelain box. Painted by hand in Limoges, France, the piece pairs a soft color with a romantic subject.
Two Hearts, One Perch
Love birds are named for the way pairs stay close together, often sitting shoulder to shoulder for hours. That habit has made them a lasting symbol of partnership, and the pastel blue cage adds a vintage, cottage feel. Every box is painted by hand, so the shading of the birds and cage differs slightly.
Sweetheart Occasions
Give it for an engagement, a wedding shower, a Valentine's Day surprise or a milestone anniversary. It also suits a friend who keeps pet budgies or love birds, or a couple moving into their first home together. Display it on a bedroom dresser, a vanity or a sunny shelf in a cottage style room, where the pale blue can catch the morning light.
