Silver Race Car Set on Blue Porcelain Limoges Box

A silver race car sits on a field of blue on this sporty porcelain box, poised for the starting flag. It was painted by hand in Limoges, France, and is a genuine Limoges box for any racing fan.

Silver Streak

Silver race cars have a long history on European tracks, and the color still suggests speed and precision. Set against blue, the car looks cool and ready to roll.

Lined Up at the Start

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a race car, motorsport or vehicle collection
• Pairs with the Grand Prix race car and purple sports car boxes

From the Pits to the Desk

It looks right on a desk in a home office, a den bookcase or a shelf in a garage workshop. It makes a fine birthday present for a racing fan, a thank-you to a favorite mechanic, or a memento of a race weekend.

Built in an Old Tradition

Many Limoges boxes are painted by hand after the white porcelain is fired, and their metal mounts are fitted by hand as well. Even a speedy subject like this one starts with that slow, careful process.
