Rochard Easel with Monet Water Lilies Porcelain Box Limoges

An artist's easel holds Monet's famous water lilies, the soft pond scene that made Giverny legendary. Rochard put the painting and easel into porcelain as a Limoges box, painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Giverny in Miniature

The easel forms the box, and the water lilies painting rests on it, recalling the Impressionist master's series of pond views. Claude Monet painted his water garden at Giverny again and again in his later years, and those canvases now hang in museums around the world. This piece brings a little of that peaceful garden home.

Museum Shop Charm

• A Rochard fine art piece, painted in Limoges
• Fits an art, Impressionism or painter collection
• Pairs with palette, paintbrush and Eiffel Tower pieces

For the Art Lover

Give it to a painter, an art teacher, a museum docent, or a traveler just back from Giverny or the Orangerie in Paris. It suits a gardener with a lily pond, too. Set it on a studio shelf among brushes, a desk in a home office, or a bookcase beside art books, where it adds a quiet touch of French Impressionism.
