Serenading Mice on a Heart Limoges Box

One little mouse serenades another on top of a heart, turning this Limoges box into a tiny musical love scene. It is hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France, with the heart shaped base forming the box itself.

A Serenade on a Heart Shaped Stage

There is an old fashioned courtship quality to the design, like a balcony song beneath a window. Here the singers just happen to be mice, which keeps it sweet rather than sentimental, and the heart beneath them makes the message plain.

Love Songs in Miniature

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Combines mouse, music and heart themes in one piece
• Pairs with other courting couples, hearts and instrument shapes

For the Ones Who Sing Along

Give it for Valentine's Day, an anniversary, or to remember a first date that ended with dancing in the kitchen. It is also a good choice for a couple who met in a choir or a band, and for any music teacher with a soft spot for romance.

Set it on a piano, a dresser or a nightstand where the little serenade can be seen each day. Mouse collectors will appreciate the pairing, and anyone who builds a romance shelf will find that it brings a light, playful note beside the more formal doves and roses.
