Rochard Garden Watering Can Limoges Box Figurine with Bunny

A watering can waits by the garden bed, and a rabbit has come to visit. Rochard turned the scene into a Limoges box, hand-painted in Limoges, France, that feels like a spring morning among the lettuces.

Who's Been in the Lettuce?

Every gardener knows the rabbits find the vegetable patch before the first harvest. Rochard made a gentle joke of it, pairing the watering can with its furry visitor. The painting is done by hand, so the rabbit's coat and the can's surface each have their own careful finish.

Spring in Full Bloom

Bring it out for Easter, leave it out through the planting season, and enjoy it on a sunroom shelf or kitchen windowsill all summer. It is a sweet present for a gardener's birthday, a master gardener graduation, Mother's Day, or a garden club thank-you. Anyone who has caught a cottontail nibbling the tulips will smile at it.
