Rochard Small Square Limoges Box, Pale Blue with Rose and Gold
Cool light blue meets warm rose and gold on this small square box, a balanced mix of colors that feels like a spring morning. It is a Rochard design, painted by hand on porcelain in Limoges, France.
Powder Blue With a Blush
The square shape gives the colors a neat frame, with rose and gold set against the pale blue ground. Rochard also paints this scheme on a dark blue square, so the two make a matched pair in light and shadow. Each one is brushed by hand, which keeps the tones soft and slightly varied.

A Baby Blue Welcome
The gentle blue makes it a good choice for welcoming a baby boy or marking a christening, and it is equally at home with a bride who chose something blue. Set it on a white bookshelf, a nightstand or a bathroom vanity in a coastal-style room. It also sits well in a curio among blue and white porcelain, where the rose and gold add a little warmth to all that cool color.
Simple in outline, layered in color, it rewards a closer look.
