Flat Rectangle Limoges Box with Light Pink Roses

Light pink roses stretch across this flat, rectangular porcelain box, soft as the first blooms of June. Made in Limoges, France, it was painted by hand with the roses as its single, graceful theme.

A Rose by Any Rectangle

Roses are the most beloved flower in porcelain painting, and the pale pink variety carries a message of gentleness and admiration. The flat rectangle gives them a long, even surface to unfold across. The result is quiet and refined, more English garden than showy bouquet.

Thank Yous and Tender Moments

This rectangle suits a thank you for a wedding planner, a bridesmaid, or a nurse who made a hospital stay easier. It also makes a gentle sympathy remembrance or a sweet sixteenth birthday present. The flat shape fits beautifully on a writing desk, a vanity, or a narrow shelf beside a framed photo.

For anyone who keeps roses in the garden, this box keeps a few in bloom all year long.
