Rochard Pink Rose Mother's Day Hand-Painted Limoges Box

$406.00 $0.00

A pink rose on a long brass stem rests with this Mother's Day porcelain Limoges box, and it lifts away to stand on its own. Rochard painted the piece by hand in Limoges, France.

A Rose That Lasts

Mother's Day in America began with Anna Jarvis in 1908, and flowers have been the favorite way to say thank you ever since. Pink roses speak of gratitude and admiration, exactly the feelings the day is meant to honor. Unlike a bouquet, this rose will still be blooming next May.

For the Woman Who Does It All

  • A Rochard Mother's Day piece, hand-painted in Limoges, France
  • Comes with a removable long brass rose
  • Pairs well with rosebud, pansy and lily of the valley boxes

From Breakfast Tray to Vanity

Present it on a Mother's Day breakfast tray, then let it settle on a vanity, a nightstand or a shelf beside family photos. It also makes a warm present for a grandmother, a stepmother, a new mom on her first Mother's Day, or a mentor who has been like a mother.

An Old Craft, a New Bloom

Snuff, pills and beauty patches filled the first small porcelain boxes at the eighteenth-century French court. Today a box like this carries a message of thanks instead.
