Opening Rose Bud Porcelain Limoges Box

A rose bud is caught just as its petals begin to unfurl in this porcelain box, a moment of bloom held still. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France, a romantic flower subject that stays soft and simple on a shelf.

The First Petal Opens

There is something hopeful about a rose just starting to open, full of promise and not yet in full bloom. This piece captures that early moment, which is why it often marks new beginnings. Its gentle shape works on a vanity, a nightstand or a shelf of floral pieces.

Romance in Bloom

• Limoges porcelain painted by hand
• Fits a rose, flower or romance collection
• Pairs with the open flower bud box for a little garden

A Bloom That Never Fades

Give it for Valentine's Day, an anniversary or to a new mother on the day her baby arrives. It also makes a gracious thank you for a wedding florist or a rose society friend. Rose growers who tend their bushes through every season will appreciate a bud that stays fresh all year, with no pruning required.
