Square Roses and Butterfly Perfume Bottle Limoges Box

Roses bloom across a square perfume bottle while a butterfly drifts in for a closer look, a garden moment on the dressing table. This piece is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, decorated by hand in Limoges, France.

A Butterfly Drawn to the Roses

Roses and butterflies are a natural pairing, one fragrant and the other drawn to it, and here they decorate the shape of a classic square perfume bottle. Every petal and wing is painted by hand, so the colors and placement vary slightly from box to box.

Scent of the Garden

Perfume bottles have been cherished objects on vanities for centuries, admired as much for their shapes as for what they held. This porcelain version is purely decorative, a way to enjoy the look of a beautiful bottle without a drop to spill.

Fluttering Onto the Vanity

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a perfume bottle, rose or butterfly collection
• Pairs well with compact, hand mirror and powder jar pieces

Give it to a bride on her wedding morning, a bridesmaid as a thank-you, or a gardener who grows prize roses. It also suits Mother's Day or a birthday for anyone with a signature scent. On a mirrored tray, a dresser or a bathroom vanity, it brings a soft floral note to the room.
