Rochard Santa Inside a Chimney Limoges Figurine Box
Only Santa could squeeze into a chimney like this, and here he is, tucked right inside with Christmas Eve in full swing. Rochard paints this porcelain figurine box by hand in Limoges, France, a jolly Limoges piece full of holiday spirit.
Down the Chimney He Goes
Every family has its own picture of the moment Santa slips down the chimney, and this box captures it in porcelain. Rochard is known for figurines with personality and good humor, and each Santa is painted by hand, so the colors on his suit and the chimney vary slightly from piece to piece.
A Fireside Favorite
The mantel is the natural home for this one, right above the stockings, but it is just as charming on a side table near the tree or on a windowsill looking out at the snow. It makes a cheerful present for a chimney sweep, a fire department volunteer, or a grandparent who still leaves out milk and cookies. Many collectors pair it with Rochard's Santa on top of the chimney for a before and after scene.
