Cat Sitting in a Yellow Teacup Porcelain Limoges Box

A cat has squeezed itself into a bright yellow teacup and looks perfectly happy there, as if the cup were made for it all along. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box has the sunny cup and its furry occupant painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Purrfect Cup of Tea

Cats really do choose the oddest places to sit, and a teacup is exactly the kind of spot one would claim. The cheerful yellow gives the piece a sunny, morning feel, like breakfast in a kitchen full of light.

For the Cat and Tea Crowd

It is a sweet present for a cat owner, a tea drinker, or a friend who hosts an afternoon tea every month. Set it on a kitchen shelf, a breakfast nook windowsill, or a hutch among real teacups. Birthdays and Mother's Day both suit it well.

Two of life's small comforts, a cat and a cup, combined in one sunny piece that brightens even a gray morning.
