Maroon Teapot with Painted Flowers Limoges Box

A teapot in deep maroon, decorated with painted flowers, brings warmth and richness to this porcelain piece. The Limoges box was painted by hand in Limoges, France, a classic teapot shape dressed in an autumnal shade.

Steeped in Burgundy

Maroon is a color of cozy evenings and fireside tea, and the flowers on this pot keep it from feeling too serious. Among a row of pastel teapots it adds depth, the way a dark rose stands out in a bouquet. The flowers and color are applied by hand, so each teapot is a little different.

Teatime Gifts for Every Season

Give it to a tea drinker for a fall birthday, a hostess after a holiday tea, or a grandmother who keeps her best china for Thanksgiving. It is also a fine thank-you for a book club host. Set it inside a china cabinet, on a tea cart, or on a sideboard during the autumn months.
