Baby Animals Toy Box Limoges Box

A baby's toy box, with little animal figures as part of its design, has been rendered in porcelain as a tribute to the earliest days of a new life. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, and the lid opens just as a real toy chest would.

Nursery Rhyme Menagerie

The small animals give the piece a storybook feel, the kind of friendly faces that fill a nursery shelf. Everything is painted by hand in Limoges, so the colors and expressions shift slightly from one box to another. It captures that soft, sleepy season when a new arrival changes everything.

First Tooth, First Curl

Parents often tuck a first tooth, a snip of hair or a hospital bracelet inside a box like this and keep it on a dresser for years. It makes a thoughtful baby shower present, a christening remembrance or a first birthday token from a grandparent. Long after the nursery has been repainted, it remains a small reminder of how tiny everyone once was.
