Rochard Holiday Toy Chest Limoges Box with Rocking Toy
A Christmas toy chest stands ready for the holiday morning rush, and a little rocking toy comes along with it as a removable accent. Rochard shaped the chest in porcelain and finished it by hand at its studio in Limoges, France.
Toys of Christmas Past
Old fashioned toy chests and rocking toys bring to mind the holidays of earlier generations, when presents were wooden and made to last. This miniature catches that feeling in porcelain. The rocking toy can rest on top of the chest or stand beside it, and the chest is purely for display, not for holding real toys.

A First Christmas Keepsake
This is a sweet way to mark a baby's first Christmas, a christening during Advent, or the arrival of a new grandchild in December. Place it on a nursery shelf, under the tree among the packages, or on a mantel beside the stockings. Years from now it can come back out each season as a reminder of that very first holiday.
Hand Finished in Limoges
Limoges boxes are painted after the white porcelain is fired, and their small metal mounts are fitted by hand as well.
