Rochard Santa Holding a Teddy Bear Limoges Box

Santa has a teddy bear tucked in his arms here, as if he picked the very best toy from the sack to deliver himself. This is a Rochard Limoges box, hand-painted porcelain made in Limoges, France.

The Bear Chosen for the Sleigh

Teddy bears have ridden along with Santa in Christmas pictures for more than a century, and this piece leans into that gentle tradition. The bear softens the jolly figure and turns the scene into a quiet promise that someone special will find exactly what they hoped for under the tree.

A Rochard Christmas Morning

• A Rochard design, painted by hand in Limoges, France
• Belongs in a Santa, Christmas or teddy bear grouping
• Pairs well with sleigh, reindeer and toy soldier pieces

Rochard is known for lively, story-driven subjects, and Santa holding a favorite toy fits that playful approach well.

Under the Tree Each December

Set it on a mantel among the stockings or beneath the lowest branches of the tree, where its colors catch the twinkle lights. It makes a warm December present for a grandparent who collects Santas, a teddy bear fan, or a family that adds one new holiday piece every year. Many collectors bring it out on the first weekend of Advent and leave it in place until the decorations come down in January.
