Sleepy Time Teddy Bear by Rochard, Limoges Porcelain Box

A sleepy teddy bear, ready for bedtime, brings a gentle hush to this sweet porcelain box. Rochard designed this bedtime scene, and every soft detail of the Limoges box was hand-painted in Limoges, France.

Lullaby Hour

Every nursery has its favorite bedtime companion, the bear that is hugged close as the lights go down. Sleepy Time Teddy captures that moment just before dreams arrive, and Rochard's soft, storybook style makes the subject feel especially tender. Parents and grandparents alike recognize the scene from their own evenings of lullabies.

Sweet Dreams, Little One

Give it at a baby shower, a christening or a first birthday, or as a keepsake for a new grandparent. It belongs on a nursery dresser, a bedside table or a shelf of storybooks, a gentle reminder of quiet evenings.

Painted in the Old Way

Many Limoges boxes, like this teddy, are painted by hand after the white porcelain has been fired, and their metal mounts are fitted by hand too. That slow, careful work gives each piece its own character.
