Teddy Bear on a Blanket Porcelain Limoges Box
A teddy bear rests on a soft blanket in this sweet nursery scene, painted by hand on porcelain in Limoges, France. It is a Limoges box made with baby showers and new arrivals in mind.
Sweet Dreams on a Blanket
A blanket and a teddy bear are two of the first comforts in any nursery, the companions that stay close through naps and bedtime stories. This piece pairs them together in a tender, quiet moment, the kind parents remember long after the baby years have passed.
Nursery Keepsake Notes
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- A gentle choice for a teddy bear or nursery collection
- Pairs with baby rattle, rocking horse and crib pieces
Celebrating a Newborn
Bring it to a baby shower, a naming ceremony or a baptism, or tuck it into a hospital visit for new parents. Many families keep it on a nursery shelf, then move it to a keepsake cabinet as the years go by, where it becomes a reminder of those first months. It also makes a meaningful present for an adoptive family welcoming a new son or daughter home, or for grandparents marking their first grandbaby.
