Teddy Bear in a Wicker Basket Limoges Box
A teddy bear sits snug in a wicker basket, as if waiting to be carried off on a picnic or tucked beside a crib. Every detail of this porcelain Limoges box was painted by hand in Limoges, France.
Bundled Up and Ready to Go
A teddy in a basket is a picture of comfort, a favorite companion packed up with care. The woven look of the wicker and the soft shape of the bear play nicely against each other, giving the piece a homey, storybook charm. Teddy bear collectors often look for these everyday scenes, and a basket adds a gentle sense of journey.

A Welcome for Little Arrivals
Offer it at a baby shower, a christening or a first birthday, or as a remembrance for a grandparent who still keeps their own childhood bear. It looks sweet on a nursery dresser, a bookshelf of picture books, or a curio cabinet beside other bears. It also makes a kind thank-you for a nanny or a labor and delivery nurse.
