Baseball Star USA Teddy Bear in Porcelain Limoges

Batter up for this USA teddy bear baseball star, a patriotic sports fan in porcelain form. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box from Limoges, France, and it belongs to a retired teddy sports series.

Bottom of the Ninth

Baseball and teddy bears are both American favorites, and putting them together makes a piece with plenty of hometown spirit. The USA theme adds a strong sense of national pride, which makes it a natural for the Fourth of July or opening day.

Seventh Inning Shelf

Put it on a den shelf near the game, on a desk at a sports office, or with Fourth of July decorations each summer. It makes a fun present for a baseball coach, a baseball fan's birthday, or an end-of-season thank you for a team parent.

From Snuff to Sports

Porcelain boxes came into fashion in eighteenth century France, used then to carry snuff, pills and beauty patches. Today they celebrate everything from ballgames to holidays.
