Colt 45 and Sheriff Badge Western Porcelain Limoges Box

A sheriff's star and a Colt 45 revolver tell the story of the Old West in a single glance. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, made in Limoges, France, salutes the lawmen of frontier towns and the legends that grew up around them.

Law of the Frontier

The Colt 45 became known as the gun that won the West, and the sheriff's badge stood for order in dusty towns from Tombstone to Dodge City. Both are painted by hand here, so the metal tones and details vary a little from one piece to another.

Saddle Up for the Shelf

Display it in a den, a ranch house office or on a bookshelf with Western novels and old movie posters. It fits right in among cowboy boot, cowboy hat, horseshoe and saddle pieces, building a small frontier scene.
