Rochard Texas State Capitol Building Limoges Box

The Texas State Capitol in Austin, with its great dome rising over Congress Avenue, is the landmark behind this Rochard Limoges box. It is porcelain, made and painted by hand in Limoges, France, and it speaks to anyone with Lone Star roots.

Under the Austin Dome

Texans like to point out that their capitol stands taller than the one in Washington, a fact that sums up the state's spirit nicely. The building remains the seat of Texas government and a favorite stop for visitors to Austin. This piece brings that proud landmark down to shelf size.

Everything's Bigger in Texas

• A Rochard landmark design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Fits a Texas, state pride or landmark collection
• Pairs with the Rochard Texas flag and license plate pieces

From the Statehouse to Your Desk

Set it on an office shelf, a law library bookcase or a den mantel among other Texas keepsakes. It makes a fitting thank-you for a legislator or staffer, a welcome present for someone who has just moved to the state, or a graduation present for a student heading to Austin. Teachers of Texas history appreciate it too, as do collectors of state capitols and American landmarks.
