Rochard Valentine Heart Limoges Box with Bow and Candies
A heart tied with a red bow, with three little candies alongside, makes a sweet Valentine in porcelain. Rochard made this box in Limoges, France, and painted the bow and treats by hand.
Sweets for the Sweet
Hearts, ribbons and candy have been the language of Valentine's Day for well over a century, from penny candy hearts to boxed chocolates. Rochard combined all three in one small piece that carries no calories at all. The bow and candies are brushed on by hand, so each set has slight variations.
February Treats
Leave it on a pillow, tuck it into a lunch bag, or set it at a breakfast plate on February 14. It makes a lovely present for a spouse, a sweetheart, a mother or a dear friend, and it suits anyone with a sweet tooth. Afterward it can stay on a vanity, a nightstand or a desk as a year round reminder of affection.
