Yellow Floral Mailbox Porcelain Limoges Box

A yellow mailbox trimmed with flowers stands ready for a letter from a faraway friend. Every color on this porcelain box was laid on by hand in Limoges, France.

You've Got Letters

Before email, the mailbox at the end of the drive was where good news arrived, from birthday cards to love letters. This cheerful yellow one, dressed up with painted flowers, recalls that daily thrill of checking the mail. Each is brushed by hand, so the blooms vary slightly from piece to piece.

Special Delivery

It is a natural thank-you for a mail carrier who has walked the same route for years, or a retirement present for a postmaster. It also suits a pen pal, a calligrapher, a stamp collector or a friend who still sends handwritten notes for every occasion.
